Furniture makes a garden usable. Accessories make it feel finished.

Lighting does the most work. A terrace with furniture and no light stops being used at dusk, which is usually the hour you most wanted it. Our lanterns are portable, so they move with the season and the occasion. Three at varying heights reads better than one large piece.

Rugs define the room. An outdoor rug does the same job outside as in: it draws a boundary around a seating arrangement so the space reads as a room rather than furniture placed on paving. 

Cushions and care. Scatter cushions are the cheapest way to change the character of a set you already own. And the cleaners and protectors are the least glamorous thing here but essential to keep everything looking great.
