    Care & Maintenance

    Aluminium is exceptionally low-maintenance and entirely rust-proof, meticulously designed to remain outdoors 365 days a year without degrading.

    To preserve the pristine finish of your furniture or pergola and prevent atmospheric residue from adhering to the surface, we recommend a simple, occasional care routine.

    Simply wipe the frames with a soft, damp microfiber cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleanser to effortlessly lift dust or organic marks.

    To cleanse larger structures or integrated side screens, a pressure washer may be used on its lowest, most gentle setting from a reasonable distance.

    Optimising Your Pergola

    To ensure the integrated, concealed drainage system functions flawlessly, we advise periodically checking the internal louvre gutters to keep them clear of fallen leaves and organic debris. This simple upkeep maintains an unobstructed flow, allowing the hidden channels to direct rainwater away smoothly through the structural support posts.

    Please note: During periods of extraordinarily heavy or torrential downpours, the sheer volume of water may briefly exceed the immediate drainage capacity before clearing. This temporary pooling is a normal hydrodynamic response to extreme weather and will subside rapidly as the peak flow passes.

  • TEAK

    Care & Maintenance

    The choice between silver-grey elegance and golden warmth is entirely yours. Teak can be left entirely untouched to mature naturally, or effortlessly curated to retain its original brilliance at any point in its lifespan.

    To give your timber the finest start to its open-air life, we recommend letting the wood breathe insitu for 24 hours upon delivery before applying any initial protective treatments.

    • The Silver-Grey Preference (Natural Weathering): If you prefer the stately, silvered look, simply leave the timber untreated. The transition will happen naturally over a few months. To maintain this look, cleanse the surface once or twice a year with a soft-bristled brush and warm, soapy water to remove atmospheric dust and organic residue.
    • The Honey-Golden Preference (Colour Retention): To permanently arrest the silvering process and keep the rich honey tones alive, treat the timber twice a year with a premium teak oil or specialized wood protector. After a season of open-air use, gently smooth the surface with a fine-grade sandpaper to open the grain, brush away the residue, and apply the oil evenly using a roller or lint-free cloth. The oil deeply nourishes the wood, locking in that "just-delivered" radiance.

  • ROPE

    Care & Maintenance

    Our structural rope is inherently weatherproof, moisture-repellent, and fully optimised for year-round outdoor use. However, to preserve its pristine, editorial aesthetic and shield the intricate weave from harsh winter conditions, we recommend utilising premium breathable covers during the late autumn and winter months.

    Maintaining the clean, crisp appearance of hand-woven rope is entirely straightforward, requiring only minimal and gentle upkeep to keep it looking showroom-fresh.

    • Routine Cleansing: For general maintenance, simply rinse the rope with clean, warm water or wipe down with a soft microfiber cloth to effortlessly lift away atmospheric dust, pollen, and everyday open-air residue.
    • Targeted Stain Removal: For more stubborn marks, organic spillages, or bird droppings, gently work into the fibres using a specialised textile cleaner or a mild, natural green soap diluted in lukewarm water. Use a soft cloth or a very gentle sponge, then rinse thoroughly with clean water afterward to remove any soapy film. Always allow the material to air-dry naturally.
    • Preserving the Fibres: To protect the structural integrity of the weave, never use aggressive chemical agents, bleach, or abrasive scrubbing brushes. Similarly, avoid the use of high-pressure jet washers at close range, as the sheer force can fray the elegant, woven outer surface and compromise the tension of the inner core.

    While our engineered surfaces are exceptionally robust and inherently stain-resistant, practising mindful daily care preserves their flawless, showroom finish for decades to come.

    To maintain the pristine, structural perfection of your dining or coffee table, we recommend an easy, elegant maintenance routine:

    • Routine Cleansing: For daily upkeep, simply wipe the surface with a soft, damp microfibre cloth. For accumulated environmental dust or after hosting a gathering, a mild, non-abrasive detergent or specialised outdoor surface cleaner will effortlessly restore its original lustre.
    • Surface Breathability: If you choose to dress your table with a tablecloth or runner during dining events, ensure it is removed afterward. Allowing the surface to breathe prevents trapped atmospheric moisture and condensation from creating a localised microclimate, which can leave a faint, temporary residue.


    Preserving Your Surface

    Our tabletops are designed for the art of living, but protecting them from localised thermal shock and trapped moisture ensures absolute longevity.

    • Thermal Protection: Never place intensely hot objects—such as boiling pans, cast iron cookware, or exposed tea lights—directly onto the surface. Always utilise elegant, heat-resistant trivets or contemporary table mats to diffuse the thermal energy.

    • Preventing Trapped Moisture: Avoid leaving solid, heavy objects such as dense ceramic planters, unlined vases, or metal ashtrays in a fixed position for extended periods. Condensation can collect beneath these items, trapping minerals from rainwater that may create superficial ring marks over time.
